Cocchi Campaign Officially Opens Campaign Headquarters with Open House: 5:30 – 7:30p, Wednesday, January 6th, 2016

Campaign has been using offices since October as base of many campaign operations and efforts

(Hampden County, MA) The Cocchi for Sheriff Campaign will officially open the campaign’s headquarters with an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016. The event is open to the public. The headquarters is located at; 1915 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA. It is in the well-known Sixteen Acres Shopping Plaza that is also home to Fresh Acres and Walgreen’s at the intersection of Parker Street and Wilbraham Road.

“We’ve been working from this location for months now, holding campaign supporter meetings, using it as a base for launching our door-to-door canvassing and other grassroots efforts. We’ve been so busy here over the last few months that we finally found the time now to officially open the doors and welcome the public in,” said Cocchi.

“It’s centrally located and easily accessible from points all over the County, making it convenient for our supporters from all 23 cities and towns. It’s great visibility for us and it’s in keeping with our high-energy campaign. In the era of impersonal social media campaigns on the internet, I appreciate this space affording us face-to-face time with our campaign team and the folks who come in to say hello. We’ve learned that having the coffee pot on at all times is essential,” said Cocchi.

“The Headquarters is easy to find in the Sixteen Acres Shopping Plaza. We’ve had our Cocchi banner and signs in the windows for a while and many people have stopped in. It’s been another great way for me to meet people and hear their thoughts on what they believe the priorities should be for their next Sheriff,” said Cocchi.

Cocchi is the first candidate for Sheriff to open a campaign headquarters in the race to succeed Hampden County Sheriff, Michael J. Ashe, Jr.
