Hampden County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Superintendent Nick Cocchi Attends National Institute of Corrections in Colorado.

Cocchi Spoke of Hampden County’s Successful Offender Re-entry.

Candidate Cocchi Receives Another Law Enforcement Endorsement: From Texas.

(Limestone County, Texas)  Sheriff Dennis Wilson of Limestone County, Texas, listened intently to Hampden County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Superintendent Nick Cocchi speak on offender re-entry yesterday at the National Institute of Corrections in Colorado. Sherriff Wilson was impressed and approached Cocchi after the conclusion of the conference and endorsed his candidacy for Sheriff of Hampden County.

“I know I'm thousands of miles away from Hampden County Massachusetts, but Nick's understanding and vision of modern day "Correctional Best Practices" is up with the best in the country. The Hampden County Sheriff's Office is one of the finest run correctional facilities in the state and Nick is the person to continue its cutting edge work”, said Sheriff Wilson.  “Nick is a 22-year veteran in the field of corrections, who has a very in-depth understanding of what is needed in today’s modern approach to reintegrating offenders safely back into our communities with the hope of them being more productive and less likely to reoffend,” said Sheriff Wilson.  Nick was just powerful and articulate on how he and the Hampden County Sheriff's Department will continue to be a leader in corrections around the county. He has a plan and it is impressive. I know others here from around the country are also impressed with Nick and I anticipate that others will join me in supporting him,” said Sheriff Wilson.
